Second Magic League Of Magic 2014- The Era Of Major Losses

    A new magic league started literally 5 days ago and I opened my 107 starters. Inside one of those packs, the most expensive card in the set came out. Nobody else in the league has it. I had made my deck two colors, keeping that card(it's name was Archangel of Thune) in it.

    The first series did not go so well. I could not afford any of my good spells. I lost 0-2.

    After that, everyone took a lunch break. So I had time to make my deck better. I now have a 45 card blue, red, and white deck.

    The first game was crucial. I had an Archangel Of Thune/Soulmender combo. The way it works is every turn I tap Soulmender to gain one life, then put a +1/+1 counter on each creature I control for an easy win, especially if I have 5 creatures (which I did at the time).

    The second game was cold. I should have mulliganed when I did not. It took me 4 turns to play a spell, plus, when I finally played a spell, it was Clone, which does no use if you have no other creatures. Right after I had enough mana to play clone, I was beaten by a very unfair sliver deck.

    The third game, I did have Archangel Of Thune, but only used it for the final attack. I still won that series.
