Note: Ask Ben to read this.
We like to call this deck 1919 because it is very dangerous to play it. It could usually kill a player in 3 or 4 turns. Let's review the cards:
For land, we have:
23 forests
1 Llanowar Reborn
The only weak thing about this land is the fact that it enters tapped. It adds a forest. But being able to put a +1/+1 counter on any creature for free will always be a powerful insentive to kill your opponent extremely quickly, especially when dealing poison damage. This is an unfair card.
Now, for creatures:
4 Glistener Elf
Infect is an extremely powerful ability, especially if you can get it for one mana. Glistener elf does that. Instead of dealing damage, infect puts that many -1/-1 counters on each creature and gives a player that many poison counters (A player with 10 or more poison counters loses the game.)
4 Blight Mamba
This is the same as Glistener Elf, but it costs one more and you could always regenerate it. Whether it comes to attacking or blocking, this could never get less powerful.
4 Ichorclaw Myr
Better than Blight Mamba. With a Mending Touch, this is never ending. It can always give a player one poison counters, or a creature three -1/-1 counters. The only weakness: Melira, Sylvok Outcast.
4 Plague Myr
Not as good, but more rare. Instead of Ichorclaw Myr's +2/+2 ability, it is used for mana. It is not necessarily important.
With those, you'll get the rest of it.
1 Rot Wolf
1 Forotten Ancient
1 Corpse Cur
2 Tangle Angler
1 Forced Adaptation
1 Burst of Strength
4 Mutagenic Growth
4 Unnatural Predation
1 Savage Surge
4 Titanic Growth
4 Wild Defiance
Sincerely,
Nate
