So I got Nate a date book, after my 1100 attempts to convince him to leave mine alone failed. I figured he could write in his plans as he hatches them. Little did I suspect that he would also use it to chronicle his year thus far. The book runs July 2008-December 2009. Nate immediately got to work catching it up, as I discovered when I paged through it tonight after he went to bed.
[The book actually starts on Friday, June 27, which is my birthday, and how very sixth grade of me to be excited about that.]

It is, as far as I am able to review my own date book, school fliers, and memory, completely accurate. Does that creep out anyone else? It's not like he knew there was going to be a quiz. He just remembered that on July 13, he went to a birthday party for Jack and Ava, and on August 2, he had a babysitter. You know, in case it ever came up. I tried 15 different ways of asking how he knew and remembered all that, and he tried 15 different ways of explaining it, but I still have no idea. Again, words fail me.

Because the pump start is the beginning of the grinding work, we must use coolant. While it is working.
