Here is a list of the web pages that someone printed today while Steve and I were at work:
1. Results from a search for "letters and numbers" on ebay (77 items found!)
2. monthes.com
3. JohnDenver.com: Almost Heaven Songs of John Denver (yes, I have a couple of his songs on my iPod, and no, I am not embarrassed)
4. My Yahoo! search for It's A Bam Bam Didily
5. Welcome to Target
In related news, someone has also taken to changing the names of the icons on our desktop. Spider Solitaire (a game that Daddy plays from time to time) now appears with the title "SCARY SPIDER IN A BOL." The Microsoft Word icon has become "BIGGER MICROSOFT WORDS." But my favorite has to be the newly-renamed "CLASSICAL MUSIC FABULIS BOXES I EVER SEEN BEFORE & AFTER TOO." What that icon used to be we actually do not know, because neither of us recognizes it. Presumably it was not important, or, at least, I guess I hope we won't need to use it.
In unrelated but highly amusing news, both guys, who have become big Pinocchio fans, have taken to wandering around the house or yard with bemused expressions on their faces while calling, "FAAAAATHER!! FAAAAAAAAAAATHER!" Tonight Jonah cheerily informed me, "Father is at work!" How very quaint.
Jonah has not yet started cruising for his favorite things online (although if Nate helps him, we might come home to discover a stack of Fisher Price Little People pages), but he has discovered another form of communication: the telephone. Jonah loves to call his grandparents on the phone. Tonight he asked to call Grandma Nan, only to discover that, bonus, cousin Jessica was there as well! Jonah told her his one knock knock joke (see below; it's been 6 months since Daddy shot that video, and Jonah's repertoire has not increased), at which she politely laughed. She then told him a knock knock joke, and while I'm not sure we actually heard the punchline, Jonah giggled and pronunced it "so siwwy!" It was very, very cute. He then called up Grandpa Toshi for a new audience for his joke. And with that, Jonah swiftly moved into second place frequent phone user in our family, pulling ahead of Daddy by a country mile.
Feel free to have Jonah call me anytime!

Nate has John Denver in his DNA, as I listened to lots of John Denver when I had his daddy (excuse me -- FATHER) in my tummy.
