That is so cute! I love it. I can't believe he can spell. It's one thing to recognize letters - it's another to make the connection and realize that letters make sounds that make up words. That's quite something.


We don't think he's really spelling--he just memorized the order of those letters, and he loves to recite them. We knew he'd memorized them because when he's pointing at the letters on our walks, he sometimes recites them so fast that he's ahead of where he's pointing, and then he just looks confused. He likes to recite "N-A-T-E," too, but I have no idea if he realizes that that spells Nate.
