Jake, Abby, and Toby's family were nice enough to invite Nate & Jonah onto master floatwright Rick's float for the excellently anachronistic Piedmont Fourth of July Parade. The parade theme this year was "Hometown Pride," so Rick's theme was "Hometown College Pride." The float mostly celebrated the local Cal/Stanford rivalry, but it flew the pennants of each builder's alma mater, and the kids and attendants got to show their own college spirit. Nate and Jonah proudly wore their Yale blue; Daddy doesn't have any Yale gear, so he donned the Huskies' purple and gold.
The second picture, with Nate studying his lollipop and Jonah pondering the world, captures them perfectly! Love it.
